MAIN TASKS

• Greet customers, build trust, and show genuine commitment to customer satisfaction; 
• Help customers choose a vehicle by asking questions and listening attentively to their needs; 
• Explain the product's performance, operations, and benefits either in the showroom or via email; 
• Gather required information and complete all necessary paperwork for the sale; 
• Respond to online inquiries and follow up with customers; 
• Negotiate price and obtain approval from the sales manager; 
• Review and analyze activities daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly to organize time effectively; 
• Stay up to date on new products, features, accessories, etc.; 
• Understand all federal, provincial, and municipal laws related to automobile sales; 
• Deliver vehicles and ensure the client understands features, warranty, and paperwork; 
• Perform other duties as needed and as directed by management. 

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Full-time position; 
• Approximately 40* hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. plus one evening (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.)* Approximate hours; 
• Commission-based compensation;
• Ongoing training provided by the manufacturer; 
• Work location: Équipe Formule (Rimouski)

Équipe Formule is expanding and looking for a full-time Aesthetic Technician to join our detail department. You'll be part of a fast-paced and rewarding environment where quality and efficiency are key!

• Maintain and clean the work area and equipment; 
• Perform any other related tasks requested by the manager. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Be meticulous, efficient, and enjoy teamwork; 
• Have attention to detail and manual dexterity; 
• Hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record; 
• Experience is an asset but not required -- we will train the right person! 

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (approx. 40h/week)

JOB OVERVIEW

The technician is a workshop specialist who maintains (tire pressure, oil changes, parts inspections, oil analysis, etc.) and repairs vehicles. They prevent breakdowns, perform diagnostics, make adjustments, carry out repairs, reassemble faulty components, and conduct road tests.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect vehicles and diagnose necessary repairs based on preventive inspections, customer input, and/or service advisor notes;
• Adjust, repair, or replace faulty vehicle parts according to professional standards and methods;
• Inform the service advisor of any additional issues discovered during repairs;
• Perform routine maintenance, conduct road tests, and complete required reports;
• Assist with tire installation, calibration, alignment, and handling;
• Keep the work area clean and maintain available equipment;
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety protocols and identify potential workplace risks;
• Take time to explain completed work, present the general condition of the vehicle, and inform the customer of upcoming repairs;
• Handle all vehicles with care and attention;
• Carry out any other related tasks requested by a supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in automotive mechanics;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience;
• Valid Class 5 driver's license (license status will be checked before hiring);
• Customer-focused approach, precision, and team spirit;
• Training in electric vehicles (an asset);
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
